Jitsi (formerly SIP Communicator) is a free and open source multiplatform voice (VoIP), videoconferencing and instant messaging application for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. It supports several popular instant messaging and telephony protocols, including open recognised encryption protocols for chat (OTR) and voice/video/streaming and voice/video conferencing (SIP/RTP/SRTP/ZRTP), as well as built-in IPv6, NAT traversal and DNSSEC. Installing Jitsi

Press Ctrl+Alt+T on your keyboard to open terminal. When it opens, run below command to download it:

32 Bit:

wget https://download.jitsi.org/jitsi/debian/jitsi_2.2-latest_i386.deb

64 Bit:

wget https://download.jitsi.org/jitsi/debian/jitsi_2.2-latest_amd64.deb

Run the below command to install Jitsi on both 32 and 64 bit systems:

sudo dpkg -i jitsi_2.2-latest_*.deb
