Install Skype In Ubuntu 10.10

This will help you to install Skype on your Ubuntu 10.10.


Now we can start, go to Applications –> Ubuntu Software Center.

Then select Edit –> Software Sources

Next, select ‘Other Software’ tab and make sure the two lines below are checked.

If it does not exist , then you must add these lines.

click Add and copy and paste the line one-by-one below and click Add Source.

• deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu maverick partner

Then  type ‘Skype’ in the search box and install it.

After all the installation finishes ,go to Applications –>Internet –> Skype.
