Install The Burg Boot Loader On Ubuntu

Install Burg in ubuntu 11.04

run these commands from the Terminal:

• sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/burg
• sudo apt-get update
• sudo apt-get install burg burg-common burg-emu burg-pc burg-themes burg-themes-common

Install Burg in ubuntu 10.10/10.04

open the Terminal and type these commands:

• sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bean123ch/burg
• sudo apt-get update
• sudo apt-get install burg burg-common burg-emu burg-pc burg-themes burg-themes-common 

At the end of the installation, specify the disk where you want to install Burg (usually /dev/sda).

The Burg boot loader is now well installed. To configure and test it without rebooting your system, run this command in Terminal

" sudo burg-emu -D "

it will open a window like this and you can change the theme by pressing F2 and also can change the resolution by pressing F3.

Now restart your system and feel the new changes ..!!!
